How GAIT decides

Written rules set the recommendation. GAIT explains each finding and drafts a fix, and a reviewer makes the decision.

  1. Submitted

GAIT keeps the original and fingerprints it. It is never edited.

  2. Text read

The text becomes numbered sections, each tied to its place on the page.

  3. Checked

Written rules look for missing sections, dates that disagree and placeholders.

  4. Recommendation

The rules give one recommendation, with a stated reason for every finding.

  5. Reviewer decision

A reviewer decides. GAIT records every step, so anyone can check it later.
